By downloading, installing, or using the T4Taste application or accessing t4taste.app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use T4Taste.
T4Taste is operated by Jinyan Liu, France. References to "we," "us," or "T4Taste" mean the operator.
Your use of the T4Taste iOS application is also governed by Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. In case of conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA controls in respect of the matters it covers.
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us, not between you and Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the application.
T4Taste includes a free Trial mode (lifetime allowance) and three paid subscription tiers (Beginner, Food Lover, Professional Guide) with weekly quotas. Paid subscriptions are sold and managed by Apple via the App Store.
T4Taste's recommendations are AI-generated and rely on third-party place data. The technology has inherent limitations — covering AI-generated content, Google Maps Platform data freshness, OpenAI and Apple Foundation Models output variance, and menu / allergen accuracy. Those limitations are described in our separate Disclaimer page at /disclaimer/.
By using T4Taste you acknowledge those limitations and agree not to treat AI-generated suggestions or third-party data as authoritative. Always verify critical details directly with the restaurant before visiting.
You agree not to:
T4Taste depends on third-party services — Apple (App Store, StoreKit, iCloud / CloudKit, Sign in with Apple, Speech Recognition, Foundation Models), Google (Maps Platform, Firebase Authentication, Sign in with Google, Cloud Platform), Vercel (website hosting and analytics), and one or more large-language-model providers — each governed by its own terms. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or availability of third-party data, nor for the content of any external sites linked from the app or this website.
The default LLM provider is OpenAI. The app's Settings → AI Provider screen lets you switch to alternative providers, including providers based outside the European Economic Area. Selecting a non-default provider in Settings is your acknowledgement that your chat content will be transferred to that provider's jurisdiction. The complete list of providers, their jurisdictions, and the corresponding data-transfer legal basis are set out in the Privacy Policy at /privacy/ (sections 4 and 5).
T4Taste is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, except where such warranties cannot be excluded by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, T4Taste shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You may stop using T4Taste at any time by uninstalling the app and deleting your account through the in-app Delete Account flow. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms or your use of T4Taste shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent French courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email if we have one for you. Continued use of T4Taste after a change indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
